We Bring History to Life

Our mandate is to serve the archival community of the province of New Brunswick.

Membership

Membership in the Council of Archives New Brunswick is institutional based and consists of all types of archives including those of government, universities, historical societies, museums, and religious communities. The membership fee is $35.00 and it covers the year starting at April 1st to March 31st.

There are many advantages for archival institutions to become members of CANB:


* Annual free educational opportunities in the form of workshops

* Access to financial assistance programs from the Canadian Council of Archives and the Province of New Brunswick

* Services, training and advice of a Preservation Officer and an itinerant, bilingual, Archives Advisor.

* Opportunities to network with colleagues in archives, both large and small, throughout New Brunswick.
